Professor Andre Dekker, PhD (1974), is a medical physicist and professor of Clinical Data Science at the Maastricht University Medical Center and the Maastro Clinic in the Netherlands. His research group, Clinical Data Science, consisting of 50 employees, focuses on: 

• Federated FAIR data infrastructures, 
• AI for predictive models for health outcomes, and 
• Applying AI to improve the health of patients and citizens.

Andre Dekker gives an enlightening key note about FAIR data principles, federated Data infrastructures and the use of AI at the inauguration of the Belgian Health Data Agency (HDA). This event took place on the 17th of January 2024 in Brussels and was hosted by Kim Luyckx.
