Great News!
The Health Data Talk Series group has released its first article in the Health Data Talk Series!
It is a successful collaboration between APB, Patient Expert Center, KULeuven, pharma.be, Cabinet public health, beMedTech, King Baudouin Foundation, Sciensano, Ghent University and HDA.
This first article focuses on the value of secondary use of data for health care users. It provides an easy to understand description of health data, supported by concrete examples. Moreover, it clearly states the difference between primary and secondary use of health data, with the mention of the benefits of secondary use of health data. It ends with the reassuring protection means and regulations to guarantee privacy and data protection.
